An ice cream smothered family shoot…

Ice creams all round! Except for me – its hard to photograph well with an ice cream in your hand, although it is a talent I’m definitely keen to master!

In July I’ll be photographing Coral and James wedding in Nottingham, so we met up the other week for a family photo shoot with their two year old boy Archie – who is such a cutie at Highfields Park at Nottingham University. As well as getting some ‘proper’ photos of the three of them together for the first time, it was a great opportunity for Coral & James to practice a little before the big wedding day and get used to having their photo taken.

After planning for a wet weekend we were all surprised to be in glorious sunshine for the whole shoot – hooray! We fed the ducks, ran in the blossom – fed a very brave squirrel and Archie smothered his face in ice cream (well why wouldn’t you?).

I’m so honoured that after seeing their First glance photo Archie pointed to it and said ‘Care’ (That’s me – Clare) I’m even considering re-branding 😉
