I love wedding albums, it makes me more than a little sad to think of all those lovely memories sitting on a computer and it’s something I’m guilty of too.
Wedding albums are a great way to keep your photos within easy reach to re-live those happy moments, but nowadays fewer and fewer couples have a wedding album. The one main reason? They’re so darn expensive. And you’re right, they are. I only use trusted and high quality album makers, they are the best but they do come at a cost.
It pains me that so many couples miss out on a beautiful wedding album because of the cost, so after much searching and testing I’ve finally found an alternative to sit alongside the higher price albums and offer an alternative to couples who still want an awesome album. Something that incorporates fine art, editorial style design with gorgeous bold colours and most importantly at a reasonable price.
‘The Alternative Album’ (it’s so hip)

How do you kick off 2016 with a bang? – photographing a fun, urban wedding in London with these guys… Heather & Stu. It’s safe to say that within minutes of meeting these two, I LOVED them.
This is a wedding I’ll never forget, almost identical to my very own Pinterest board – I was in heaven! The lovely couple chose The Town Hall Hotel for their wedding ceremony – a stylish venue with a winning combination of architecture and quirkiness and one of my all-time favourite places to photograph.
A quick stroll down the road afterwards, arm in arm, waving to the locals the party arrived at the wonderful Bistrotheque another choice venue – a converted warehouse with white painted walls and a slight industrial feel to embrace the city life.
This beautiful intimate wedding was absolutely made by Heather & Stu’s friends – a crazy bunch of lovely people who welcomed me into their day with open arms. I could go on to describe every detail of the wedding, from the awesome shoes to the gold painted table animal favours. Instead I’ll let the photos do the talking…
I’ve been busy beavering away over here in my little Maidenhead studio designing for months to bring together an exciting new offering for my awesome couples. And here it is…
Little boxes of loveliness
My new wooden engraved boxes are included in every full day wedding package – and come filled with your happy memories. Packed with fine art prints on the highest quality paper stock, your photos on your very own USB, your online gallery log in details and a little treat too!
I’m absolutely thrilled and super excited for my couples to receive these lovely new boxes, the first one went out today! They’re perfect for storing photos in along with a copy of your wedding invite and other wedding day keepsakes.
Petersham Nurseries is the one of the most idyllic hidden gems in London, a haven of natural calm full of charm and beautiful nature. Petersham and nature are so beautifully intertwined it makes you wonder which came first – the nursery or the plants. You can dine in their wonderfully quirky glasshouse restaurant, browse inspiring plants in the nursery, find antiques and gifts in their shop where the ceiling is intertwined and overgrown with twisting delicate vines.
So what better way to spend a sunny Sunday? Katty from Kathryn Vintage and I headed out to Petersham Nurseries to indulge our snap-happy selves whilst getting giddy at the thought of what a wedding would be like there.
Fairy lights twinkling in the green house, reflecting off the glass, vibrant flowers lining the mis-matched furniture – a perfect wedding venue for any nature lovers.
