Tasha and Adam asked me to do their wedding photography quite a while ago, way back in 2010, which doesn’t sound that long ago, but back then it seemed like forever.
Firstly I want to say a huge thank you to them both for booking for me when I was just starting out on my wedding photography journey and having faith in me and my early work. Their day was absolutely beautiful, after so many years of pre-planning they had organised the whole day perfectly. They chose Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire and I’m so glad they did – its a photographers dream. The venue had such beautiful rustic charm and lots of lovely photo opps – I was giddy with excitement.
The first time we met at the venue to take a look around together the land was knee deep in snow, so much so that as we went to leave Adam & Tasha’s car had to be towed out of the snow with a tractor from a local farmer! Luckily we had no snow on the day, only beautiful sunshine with just the one shower of hail stones, meaning the bridesmaids had to do a quick dash with their rose bouquets to the church in their beautiful pink dresses.
Luckily the sun came out for Tasha’s arrival in her Jimmy Choo shoes and stunning lace up dress and stayed with us for the rest of the day. Which meant I could lead them both round the grounds of Kelmarsh Hall for some amazing bride and groom portraits, some of my favourite shots from the day are Tasha in her veil, she looked stunning and her eyes just pop!
I had such a fantastic day with the two of them and their guests were an absolute pleasure to photograph. After such a long build up to their wedding and now they’ve just had their wedding album delivered too, I’m almost sad there’s no more to work on with this wedding, so here’s the final round of Tash & Adam’s day…
