Personal Branding Photography - Kayleigh Tarrant, Nottingham

In 2018 I took a calligraphy workshop with the hugely talented Kayleigh Tarrant, a local Nottingham modern calligraphy & lettering artist.

With our upcoming wedding, I wanted to learn how to master calligraphy for our wedding place names and table plan. A huge, daunting task which I practiced hard for and even went on an Improvers workshop ran by Kayleigh too to prepare for the big day ahead of me.

It really is a therapeutic experience, my favourite part is actually just watching Kay work her magic on a piece of paper. Needless to say, my own calligraphy doesn’t ‘quite’ match up to hers!

Kayleigh approached me to photograph her gorgeous new foiled stationery (by the amazing Rose Press) and her workshop set up to get some new photos for her instagram and website.

Kay treats her workshop attendees so well - always held in a luscious venue with gorgeous styling and inspiration all around and not to mention… delicious cakes. It’s an absolute joy to be there and photograph.
