Personal Branding Photography - Ellyn from Bright & Beautiful Films

This personal branding session was with the lovely Ellyn from Bright & Beautiful films, a Nottinghamshire wedding videographer originally from Canada. She’s new on the scene, recently taking the amazing and brave leap from side hustler to full time videographer - such an achievement!

We talked through what Ellyn wanted from her personal branding photos and as she’ll soon be launching a shiny new website she wanted some professional imagery to go with it. As a wedding videographer you’re with your clients all day long, so it really is important for your couples to know who they’re booking. Which means it was important for us to capture some natural head shots of Ellyn to show the person behind the camera and make her couples feel instantly more at ease.

Along side these relaxed headshots, Ellyn wanted to showcase her gorgeous wooden presentation boxes that she gives all her couples and some shots of all her gear - including her impressive drone. Taking a look at her work, her branding and getting to know Ellyn I created a mood board for her before the shoot focusing on the bright and beautiful to echo her branding and of course - her personality.

A little nervous to begin with Ellyn soon embraced the shoot and I think we’d both say it was such a lot of fun. I’m so looking forward to seeing the new site and the heights she’ll be taking in this new chapter of her brand, I’m so thrilled to have captured part of it.
