Nestled in the heart of Lincoln’s Cornhill, Bird & Blend Tea Co. is a tea lover’s dream. Known for their inventive blends and warm, welcoming atmosphere, they’re more than just a tea shop—they’re a hub for creativity and community. So when I had the opportunity to do a branding photoshoot for them, I was thrilled!
Capturing the Experience: Hands-On and Heartfelt
The focus of this shoot was all about the customer experience. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted by a team that’s as knowledgeable as they are enthusiastic. Whether they’re helping you craft your perfect brew, sharing the story behind their blends, or whipping up a matcha latte masterpiece, their passion is contagious.
One of my favorite parts of the shoot was capturing the hands-on interactions. There’s something so satisfying about photographing the little details: a hand scooping vibrant tea, the frothy swirl of a matcha latte being poured, or the joyful expressions as customers sampled new flavors. These moments embody what Bird & Blend Tea Co. is all about—connection, creativity, and fun.
A Personal Conversion to Matcha
Speaking of matcha, I have to confess: I wasn’t a matcha drinker before this shoot. But thanks to the team’s infectious enthusiasm and a perfectly creamy latte they made for me, I’ve officially been converted. It’s just one more reason I’ll be visiting them again soon!
From Camera to Billboard
One of the highlights of this project was seeing an image from the shoot featured on a billboard. There’s nothing quite like seeing your work on such a large scale, helping to bring Bird & Blend’s vibrant personality to life for even more people.
